Introducing… Bernadette Sloan

Hamilton Theatre Arts is delighted to welcome Bernadette to the teaching faculty.

Bernadette will join the Ballet faculty working with the students on our Hamilton Associates programme.

Bernadette has taught dance since the early seventies and until recently, ran her own successful school.  She is Fellow and Examiner with the BATD and has entered pupils in RAD and ISTD dance examinations for many years.

Bernadette began her dance journey with Valda Hunter Dance School aged just 5 years old and went on to train in RAD and BATD and ISTD.   Bernadette then gained her qualifications in RAD RTS.  

Having gone straight into teaching, after qualifying, she has taught beginners through to professional level, both in her own school and as guest teacher with other schools throughout Scotland.  Bernadette is delighted to join the team at Hamilton Theatre Arts Associates.
